Two men jailed after Met Police data-led probe into illegal gun trade

In April 2023, specialist officers from the Met Police’s organised crime team found a converted blank-firing handgun hidden inside a flat in Bayswater during a drugs raid. Aram’s fingerprints were discovered on the pistol, prompting officers to raid his home in November, where they recovered a manual and container for the firearm, along with a drill suspected of being used to convert guns. They also found £1,000 cash concealed in a bedroom vent.
