The song seems to be about loving someone who has moved on to a new relationship.

“Forget your man back home just tonight,” one line of the song goes.

The chorus kicks off with the lyrics: “Don’t you know about me? I ain’t like him.”

However, it might not be about longterm love, as Xav croons: “If we can’t have love we could fall in lust.”

The younger Trudeau first teased that he would be coming out with his own music in an Instagram post in on Jan. 24. As the National Post reported, the song was done with Ottawa-based music label Pathway Music Group.

“Everything you will hear from Xav is 100 per cent original and made specifically to curate to Xav’s ideas,” the music label’s co-founder and co-owner Joey Boyer told the National Post.

I could see those eyes through the smoke
Hold it all in till you blow
We could hear the ringing from the door
We ain’t checking who it is tonight
Yeah I put my money on my mind
But I only put you in my sight

You could lay back let me take the wheel
I’m the only one who knows how to make you feel
You got sum I could grip on
I know you don’t miss no meals
Forget your man back home just tonight
Then I’ll disappear

Don’t you know about me?
I ain’t like him
We could roll sum
We could light one
We could dim em all down
Or leave the lights on
Baby we could move in slow motion
Till the nights done
Nights done
Make you feel like how I makе you feel
In all those fantasies you have bout mе
You could have me how you wanna have me
Girl this life’s too short don’t let me leave
I could stay inside till the sun come up
I could stay inside till the sun come up
Take me for a ride till the morning come
If we can’t have love we could fall in lust

When you hit the light switch
Tell him that you love him
Know that you’ll always be my uh
I know when he kissing on your spine
You pretend they my lips
And I know when he lay it on you
You pretend that’s my sh-
So I know when you call me up
You want me to

Take the wheel
I’m the only one who knows how to make you feel
You got sum I could grip on
I know you don’t miss no meals
Forget your man back home just tonight
Then I’ll disappear

Don’t you know about me?
I ain’t like him
We could roll sum
We could light one
We could dim em all down
Or leave the lights on
Baby we could move in slow motion
Till the nights done
Nights done
Make you feel like how I make you feel
In all those fantasies you have bout me
You could have me how you wanna have me
Girl this life’s too short don’t let me leave
