Huseyin Ninnola, 23, and Ashley Mundee, 22, were both on trial at Oxford Crown Court earlier this year accused of sexually assaulting two 15-year-old girls on July 18 last year.

They were accused of plying the teens with alcohol and drugs before driving them to an isolated farm track, Jackies Lane, in Wheatley and assaulting them.

Mundee had met and groomed one of the victims online.

Thames Valley Police arrested the defendants on the day of the offences and they were charged two days later.

A jury, on January 17, found both defendants not guilty of two counts of rape each.

Ninnola, Bell Lane, Enfield, London, was also found not guilty of one count of attempting to rape a child, two counts of sexual activity with a child, two counts of sexual activity and one count of strangulation.

However, he was found guilty of making indecent photographs of a child. A jury found that he had filmed a 45 second video of Mundee engaging in sexual activity with the teen.

Mundee, of Hertford Road, Enfield, had pleaded guilty prior to the trial of two alternative counts of sexual activity with a child. He was jailed for four and a half years and is subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for ten years after a sentencing hearing on Friday (March 14).

Ninnola was jailed for  three years and four months after a sentencing hearing on January 25. His family could be heard crying as the sentence was handed down.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Samuel Goodsell of Child Abuse Investigation Unit, said: “Both Ashley Mundee and Huseyin Ninnola are predatory sex offenders.

“They travelled to Oxfordshire for the sole purpose of meeting their victims and carrying out the offences they have been convicted of.

“It was demonstrated in court that Mundee was well aware of his victims’ ages, but despite this carried out sexual activity with the children, which Ninnola filmed.
